derivative work [[User:|Mutter Erde]] (talk) 12:32, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Mutter Erde: I knew the poetess and I have a picture of her from which I created this image declaring it:
"Own work, from an original photo in my possession"
That's no good? --Giorgio Pietrocola (talk) 05:56, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
̹̟̹̟This is not a derivative work. It is the original photo from which some derivative works have been taken. The derivative works on the internet are only part of this original photo. I can also prove it by showing the back of the photo if it can be used.--Giorgio Pietrocola (talk) 08:21, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Question @Giorgio Pietrocola: Who shot the original photograph? --Ruthven (msg) 16:20, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ruthven: As can be seen from the back, the photo has been reprinted in several copies by "Giulio foto" of Genoa Pegli (https://www.giuliophoto.it/) on 09/23/2006 when Grazia Raffa was already 75 years old. When, shortly afterwards, she gave me a copy, she told me that the original was taken by her older brother Placido (aka Dino, also a deceased poet), during a family trip in the 70s, on the ship to Spain.--Giorgio Pietrocola (talk) 11:13, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Giorgio Pietrocola: Perfect. Thus, the copyrights belongs to Dino's heirs. We need a permission from them (or from Grazia Raffa's heirs). Please ask them to write to permissions-it@wikimedia.org (in Italian). --Ruthven (msg) 12:39, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ruthven: Many thanks. I have already contacted the sole heir who has sent his consent to the address you indicated to me.--Giorgio Pietrocola (talk) 12:11, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
