This file was initially tagged by Glorious 93 as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: Wrong license and logo still under copyrights. See 2nd DR at Commons:Deletion requests/File:FC Arsenal-Kyivshchyna Bila Tserkva Logo.png  JGHowes  talk 00:51, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete In addition to what JGHowes said previously, before marking all those files for deletion I personally checked what was said in the Ukrainian licensing template from which I found out that all of those logos are not part of any of the total of six cases that are listed there. As a result, those files, at least in my humble opinion, can't remain any longer on Wikimedia Commons.--Glorious 93 (talk) 07:22, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Keep According to the Article 10 "Objects Not Covered by Protection" of the Ukraine Law on Copyright and Related Rights, referenced by {{PD-UA}}, the following items shall not be objects of copyright: (d) State symbols of Ukraine, government awards; symbols and signs of government authorities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations; symbols of territorial communities; symbols and signs of enterprises, institutions and organizations. FC Desna Chernihiv is an organization "ТОВАРИСТВО З ОБМЕЖЕНОЮ ВІДПОВІДАЛЬНІСТЮ СПОРТИВНО-ФУТБОЛЬНИЙ КЛУБ ДЕСНА", accordingly, this symbol is a symbol of the organization. It is also worth taking into account the discussion on a similar issue. Dunadan Ranger (talk) 14:09, 20 September 2020 (UTC).[reply]
Keep {{PD-UA-exempt}} clearly states that this work is in the public domain within Ukraine and possibly in other jurisdictions because it is one of the following: (d) (...) symbols and signs of enterprises, institutions and organizations. This is an organisation named ТОВАРИСТВО З ОБМЕЖЕНОЮ ВІДПОВІДАЛЬНІСТЮ СПОРТИВНО-ФУТБОЛЬНИЙ КЛУБ ДЕСНА (Limited-liability company Sports Football Club Desna), this image is a symbol of this company. It might be labelled as {{Trademarked}} as non-copyright restrictions may apply, but copyright-wise it is in public domain — NickK (talk) 13:09, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@NickK: {{PD-UA-exempt}} is nowadays problemic because of a failed undeletion request: Commons:Undeletion_requests/Archive/2020-10#Files_deleted_under_Commons:Deletion_requests/File:FC_Arsenal-Kyivshchyna_Bila_Tserkva_Logo.png (OMG, filed by you), where Nat pointed that Ukrainian Government public domain works may also be copyrighted in US per COM:URAA, imho this is at least true for Ukrainian football clubs' logos. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 01:22, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think this a doubtful and largely theoretical interpretation, based on an assumption that a copyright owner whose work is not copyrighted in the home country might successfully apply for a US copyright. I would understand caution regarding symbols of international organisations present in Ukraine (where such an application is not impossible), but so far there were no cases identified when any attempts to register or enforce the US copyright were seen for Ukrainian-only organisations like FC Desna. This seems to go far beyond COM:PRP as this is not a significant doubt but a theoretical doubt — NickK (talk) 10:32, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Delete Per that failed undeletion request, URAA concerns. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 01:26, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: UNDEL had an interesting discussion but I would stick to existing status-quo and keep the file per PD-UA-exempt. Otherwise we need a much wider review... for example, stamps are non-elibile in Russia per PD-RU-exempt but they still could be copyrighted in the US: such approach could touch thousands of images here and I think we need a wider discussion to start deleting such files. --rubin16 (talk) 17:38, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
