The EXIF makes it clear that Lockheed Martin/Andy Wolfe is the copyright holder. As it's not a work of the US Govt, it's not in the public domain nor can it be licensed by the govt. MileyCyprus (talk) 03:31, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Keep EXIF says "U.S. Navy photo courtesy of Andy Wolfe/Released". In my opinion "Released" means, that Andy Wolfe does not claim copyright. For example Commons:Deletion requests/File:USMC-06806.jpg has no word "Released" in EXIF. Taivo (talk) 11:50, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • keep the use of exif as a stalking horse by certain banned individuals for mass deletions should be rejected. exif is set at the device level, before and regardless of the status of photo releases. reason to suspect new uploader, but not sufficient reason to doubt the US government. Kept: Honestly, a vagua concern regarding the EXIG is a bit far fetched and not significant doubt. --Natuur12 (talk) 16:58, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
