Author is unknown, so post mortem auctoris 70+ cannot be claimed. Widerborst (talk) 17:13, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This photo has been published in Jacques Picard: Edit von Coler, Schiller Verlag, Hermannstadt, Bonn 2010, ISBN 978-3-941271-31-9, S. 230.
In the book it is stated that the picture hails from the "Archiv Jacques Picard". It was made available for publication to Picard by Edit von Coler's († May 1949) daughter, Jutta Schröder († November 2009), during interviews with Picard while researching for the book. Picard himself died in March 2010. The photographer (who most likely acted in the capacity of a contractor for Mrs. Coler) is unknown, the photo was taken in 1931, eighty years ago, and was used in von Coler's NSDAP membership book.
With the portaited person and her sole descendant deceased, also with the author of the book deceased, and in light of the age of the portrait I believe that there is a good case for fair use of the photograph, above all in an encyclopidia. If indeed "post mortem auctoris 70+" cannot be claimed, I would appreciate suggestions on how to retain the portrait, and to prevent deletion.
