Violation of artist's posthumous copyright. Per COM:FOP Vatican, Vatican City follows the rules of the Italian copyright law, which does not provide freedom of panorama for free uses and sharing of images of copyrighted architecture and public art even for commercial purposes. Nominated photo shows a 1963 painting authored by w:en:David Alfaro Siqueiros who died in 1974. The painting may fall out of copyright soon in Vatican City but this file should not be undeleted because of subsisting U.S. copyright courtesy of Uruguay Round Agreements Act restoring or establishing U.S. copyright to all eligible global works.
