There is no evidence on the sourcepage given or elsewhere that the logo is indeed a free image. More likely, the logo was simply copied from enwiki where it is a non-free logo. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 13:52, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. This is simple logo. Olympic rings are in public domain and here are two words added with standard font. Taivo (talk) 12:02, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. 36 USC 220506 gives the US Olympic Committee the exclusive right to use the rings. Both the International Olympic Committee and the USOC have been aggressive in enforcing their rights. This is, however, a non-copyright restriction. We routinely ignore those. However, given the breadth of this restriction it is clear that there can be no use whatever of the rings except, perhaps, fair use, so it seems to me there is little point in keeping them on Commons. .     Jim . . . .  Keep Looks simple to me. Fry1989 eh? 21:44, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination -- The fact that it is simple is probably the reason for 36 USC 220506 -- to make it clear that no one else can use it without permission. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 15:54, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
