This coat of arms is clearly supposed to be a mix of Matilda's husband's and father's, but she lived a good century before heraldry came into existence: neither William the Conqueror nor Count Baldwin V of Flanders ever used either of those coats. This file could still have been acceptable if such a reconstruction had been proposed at some point by later heraldists (i.e. attributed arms), but this does not seem to be the case: the source given for this file only shows the coat of arms of Flanders. As such, I believe this coat of arms to be pure fancy and potentially misleading, completely out of scope for Commons. Ælfgar (talk) 20:45, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
