The uploader's name is Officialchrishansen... perhaps this is a publicity upload by Hansen or his team? This probably should be sent to COM:VRT; otherwise, this file is free to walk out that door. -BRAINULATOR9 (TALK) 22:17, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe check the IP address, maybe it's from Chris' publicity team, or is it a fake, we don't really know. Bacromisee (talk) 22:54, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Strong Keep. Shouldn't the username be an obvious indicator of why this rationale is incorrect? HumanxAnthro (talk) 16:59, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The uploader claimed "original work"; if the uploader is truly Chris Hansen then it's not his original work. We need more information about the photographer and whether they agreed to license it under an acceptable license. Elli (talk) 01:10, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
On the other hand, the photo was updated by Jimbo Wales, so... probably a good chance it's legit? Elli (talk) 01:11, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I can confirm that the uploader has the relevant permissions for the upload. (Work for hire, I would say.) So this definitely shouldn't be deleted but also can someone let me know what needs to be done here to solidify the situation correctly? Do they need to email OTRS or can they just come and adjust?--Jimbo Wales (talk) 12:33, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Jimbo Wales: They can use the Interactive Release Generator at COM:VRT/CONSENT or email VRT (f.k.a. OTRS) using the templates also at that page. Alternatively they could post the photo under a free license on an official website. -M.nelson (talk) 19:09, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!--Jimbo Wales (talk) 11:06, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete - missing permission per {{No permission since}}. Permission must be provided per COM:VRT or a free license indicated on an official site. -M.nelson (talk) 09:01, 22 September 2022 (Ue TC)
  •  Keep - I believe Jimbo Wales above where he wrote, "I can confirm that the uploader has the relevant permissions for the upload. (Work for hire, I would say.) So this definitely shouldn't be deleted...." 12.203.56.101 00:19, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Delete Although I deeply respect Jimbo Wales, permission should be provided by COM:VRT or other ways. SCP-2000 15:26, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
