I checked Commons:Stamps/Public domain and I did not see anything about Chilean stamps. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 05:30, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- Might be {{PD-Chile}}. Chile's copyright chart looks kind of confusing though, but it should qualify as an anonymous work from before 1964. -Nard the Bard 06:00, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- And, if my math is right 1940+70 is 2010, which is about a week away. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 06:18, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- Should it not be end of year + 70? In that case 2011? --MGA73 (talk) 23:45, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Kept. If this was published by a known author who died in 1940, it would not be PD until 1/1/2011. However, this was published anonymously (by government) prior to 1962, which means it was out of copyright in 1992 when the 30 year period was extended to 50, so it is PD-Chile. -- Avi (talk) 17:36, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
