Most likely a copyright violation. Previously an account by the name of Trevor McCbreed uploaded this image and falsely claimed ownership. The image was deleted after the following discussion: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Chris_Brown_2017.jpg&oldid=843565630 . The original image belongs to a photographer by the name of Jake Misorge who has another account by the name of Jake Misoge where they are uploading images of the same artist from the same tour https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?search=chris+brown+party+tour&title=Special:MediaSearch&go=Go&type=image . This Jake Miosge OFFICIAL account is likely an impersonator of the other Jake Misoge account, in addition to being a sockpuppet of the Trevor MCbreed account. I have sent the email with the permission of the file. The account that is proposing the file to be deleted was blocked because “Every single user upload has been a blatant COM:NETCOPYVIO” according to User:Elcobbola. I have no idea what his issue is, but I suggest that he would like to have his copyright violations as images of the Chris Brown page. Jake Miosge OFFICIAL (talk) 08:38, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
1. This Image with the exact same crop of 1,046 × 1,427 pixels was uploaded by Trevor McCbreed on 28 Jan 2024 https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Chris_Brown_2017.jpg&action=edit&redlink=1
2. It was nominated for deletion after this fictious Trevor McCbreed individual falsely claimed ownership. The nomination discussion can be viewed here https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Chris_Brown_2017.jpg&oldid=843565630
3. The original image was uploaded by Jake Misoge in a different resoltuion with a lower crop to this facebook page https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10155428157576654&set=partytour-jake-miosge
4. Photographer Jake Miosge has a seperate commons account where they have previously uploaded images from the same tour https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Breezyparty1.jpg
5. You have uploaded the same upscaled image in the exact same crop of 1,046 × 1,427 pixels that Trevor McCbreed on 28 Jan 2024. Perhaps it is all a coincidence but I find it unlikely given the same resolution and crop, in addition to Jake Miosge having another account where they could upload the image as their own.
Also regarding my uploads, Ive always pointed out the images do not belong to me as opposed to falisfying ownership as was done with this previously with this image by Trevor McCbreed. Instantwatym (talk) 14:35, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The picture you're mentioning is not the one I'm uploading. Jake Miosge OFFICIAL (talk) 19:24, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is the same image with the exact same crop. Also forgot to add the Tweet where there the photographed artist tweeted this image in 2017 https://twitter.com/chrisbrown/status/865754892329156608 Images previously uploaded to Twitter are not free and should not be used in commons, irrespective of the crop or upscaling. This was the reason for deletion when Trevor McCbreed uploaded it as their own work. Instantwatym (talk) 20:29, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
