Copyright violation. There is no FOP in Italy. The sculptor (Antonio De Francesco) died in 1963, so less than 70 years ago. I do not see a VRT ticket. JopkeB (talk) 15:28, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- I'm the author of the photo, there is no copyright violation, the CR here refers to the author of the photo non the author of the subject itself. I'm claiming no right on the statue, moreover I'm actually saying that Antonio De Francesco is the author of the statue (while I'm the author of the picture and providing it for free to wikicommons) Remtene (talk) 12:15, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

- You may be the author of the photo and therefor own the copyrights of the photo, but the sculptor (or his/her heirs until 70 years after his/her dead) has the copyrights of the sculpture. That means that others may take photos of the sculpture, but they may not publish them, as you did on Commons. Some countries have legal FOP, Freedom of Panorama for sculptures in the public space, but Italy has not. See Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Italy#Freedom of Panorama. So, I think the photos you made of sculptures of Antonio De Francesco may not be published, are copyright violation and should be deleted until 1-1-2044. And by the way, photos on Commons are not just for non profit, but for all purposes, so that cannot be a way out. JopkeB (talk) 16:05, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
