No freedom of panorama in South Africa. The file’s name and description call attention to the sculpture, so it is not de minimis. Brianjd (talk) 13:26, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- Did you even bother to read the link that you posted? Wikipedia believes that the law should permit the reproduction of panoramic images. There is no copyright claim against this work, which was taken with the owner's permission. Yet somehow you have the time and wherewithal to challenge it. Unbelievable. Please try to make some contributions to the project that are not constructive, not destrutive or de minimis Bangabandhu (talk) 02:36, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
- You should familiarize yourself with WP:HOUNDING. It is inconceivable that you just happened upon this image; you were not randomly patrolling images from South Africa. Rather, you're specifically targeting my contributions. I will seek a remedy. Bangabandhu (talk) 02:36, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Bangabandhu Yes, I looked at your contributions after Commons:Deletion requests/File:Pakistani truck artist Haider Ali paints in Washington DC.png. This is justified by Commons:Harassment#What harassment is not:
- [T]racking a user's contributions for policy violations (see above) [is not harassment]; the contribution logs exist for editorial and behavioral oversight. Editors do not own their edits, or any other article content, and any other editor has a right to track their editing patterns, and, if necessary, to revert their edits. Unwarranted resistance to such efforts may be a sign of ownership behaviour and lead to sanctions.
- To respond to your earlier comment: Wikipedian’s beliefs about what the law should permit are irrelevant; all that matters is what the law actually permits. You claim that the work’s owner provided permission. Please provide evidence of this. I previously linked to Commons:Project scope/Evidence; to be clear, that page says that the onus is on the uploader to provide such evidence. Brianjd (talk) 14:01, 7 November 2022 (UTC)

The statue is not the main subject here I think. The image description and the title can be adjusted if necessary. de minimis works for me here. --Lukas Beck (talk) 06:23, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. This is clearly a photo of the sculpture that just happens to include some foliage for effect. COM:DM is not a magic wand. --Xover (talk) 07:33, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
Deleted: per nomination and remark of XOVER, the statue appears recent and is possibly copyrighted. In combination with the lack of Panorama freedom in South Africa, the image must be deleted. --Ellywa (talk) 20:44, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
