According de:Benno Elkan this image was taken in London. If thats true how {{PD-Israel}} can be applied? JuTa 01:53, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted as this is possibly PD in Israel but not outside of Israel. This photograph was taken in 1953 according to its description. Its photographer is apparently nowhere named. According to the old Israel copyright law, a photograph becomes PD in the 51st year after its creation. Hence, this photograph became PD in Israel on 1 January 2004, allowing its publication. From the US viewpoint, we have no records that this photograph has been published first in the United States and we know that it was still copyrighted in Israel on 1 January 1996 whereby its copyright got restored in the United States through URAA. It remains unclear where this photograph has been published first, possibly by the uploader herself in Israel who appears to be a journalist. If the photographer remains unknown and if it is assumed that the first publication took place in 2003 or later, this photo would get PD in the United States in 2074. --AFBorchert (talk) 18:05, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
