No sufficient source information. Where the image from? No original url nor scan from which book. The image may from USGov but it just claimed by original uploader Matthew hk (talk) 11:33, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The image may survived if the photo was taken in 1956, which the copyright was expired. Matthew hk (talk) 11:36, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correction the image was copied from a fan site of non-English language, which cannot prove it is from USAF, it may from the manufacture Bell. Matthew hk (talk) 11:39, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The original image taken in 1956 during the construction of the mock-up, can also be found in Jay Miller's book, The X-Planes: X-1 to X-45: 3rd Edition, in the section, pp. 204–211. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 12:12, 24 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]
work of USAF has no copyright, but under Jay Miller Collection:

the NASA monograph about X planes also used the photo from Jay Miller Collection. NASA credited it from Jay Miller Collection. Seems wikicommons should ask for permission first. Matthew hk (talk) 19:20, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
