- Maghress is simply a news aggregator that takes articles and photos from the internet and posts them on their website. They own absolutely nothing that they post. The original photo referred to was taken by the DZfoot.com team and posted on our forum. As one of the leading sources of Algerian football, our photos (from the website and forum) are regularly "stolen" by news outlets. I can verify my identity if necessary via email. Please do not nominate pictures for deletion based on hunches and half-hearted detective work. TonyStarks (talk) 01:32, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- Please could you clarify who the photographer is, and who owns the copyright to this photograph? The description currently states it is your own work. Also can you provide a link to the page where the image was first published? January (talk) 06:53, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- Also please note that Commons gets about 8,000 new images every day. About 2,000 of them are deleted, mostly for copyvio. THe community is very close to being overwhelmed with work. The only way to bring an image that may be a problem to the community's attention is to tag it with {{Delete}} so this DR is actually done exactly as required by our routine procedures.
- You say "was taken by the DZfoot.com team". That means that it is not "own work" as you claimed when you posted it. If you don't want DRs on your images, then please make sure that the source information is accurate and, if the image has been published elsewhere on the Internet, say so. . Jim . . . .
