I think this is above the very low threshold of originality in Bolivia. Bolivia's threshold for copyright protection is just that it is an original work distinct from existing works, which this meets in my opinion. (see [1]) Note that in Bolivia, state works are copyrightable, so it being a national flag is not a reason for it to be kept. (see [2]) Thespoondragon (talk) 22:09, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thespoondragon This version of the flag is in fact a simplified version which applies simple geometry. The original design made by Adolfo Chávez and Antonio Soto Guatara, used by La Paz and Santa Cruz Departaments is not on Commons since that one has a more complex design that was not used in 2019 by the State of Bolivia. The current svg version that I uploaded was drawn by me based on the flag used by the National Government which has simple geometry and doesn't have a clear author. There is not any register of copyright of the design since it's a simple one. This file should remain on Commons without problems.--Janitoalevic (talk) 23:50, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
