this drawing seems to be based on historical images. As a derivatve work, it should clearly specified as a non-copyrighted image as a source. Since it fails to do so, it should be deleted as derivate work with no copyright-free image quoted as a source Dd1495 (talk) 00:03, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Just a few precedents not to repeat the same arguments:
Portraits can be made taking information from multiple sources without copying any of them, as it has repeatedly been established. They can also be made just copying a photograph, but to cast a doubt some evidence needs to be found - as to finding the original non free image that is supposed to have been copied or establishing a copyvio history of uploader. None has been done by nominator.
The fact that the nominator is upset because his drawings were deleted is not a reason to delete other people's images without rational grounds. I recommend reading en:Wikipedia:Do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point.--Pere prlpz (talk) 11:08, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep As a mentor of the illustrator in this task I can guaranty that was made avoiding to produce a derivative work. This illustration is part of the wikiArS case study Portraits of 20th century politicians that is a reference in how to produce portraits of died people for Wikipedia. --Dvdgmz (talk) 10:04, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
