- I have to strongly dissent. That photo is authentic. It was featured on the cover of the proceedings on an international workshop on Giuseppe Garibaldi (Conference titled "Garibaldi innamorato e il garibaldinismo in Toscana") held in Italy in 2007. You can still find the proceedings of the conference on Amazon https://www.amazon.it/Garibaldi-innamorato-delleroe-garibaldismo-Toscana/dp/8859605695.
