Buildings, memorials and the like are all copyrighted works. Some countries have exceptions to their copyright laws for works in public places; we call these exceptions Freedom of Panorama. Jordan's Freedom of Panorama laws apply to personal and educational use only, meaning they are not Commons Compatible: we only host images that anybody can use for any purpose. This can be uploaded to English Wikipedia, since they do not require media they hold to be free in the source country, and also to any wikis that allow for Fair Use. On the other hand, Jordanian copyright law is of exceptionally short duration for "applied arts", so if architecture is "applied arts", then the structure is likely PD. Thanks to Tarawneh for pointing this out to me. Storkk (talk) 19:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: per above - can be renominated if there is information to support that the structure is not PD after all. --Jcb (talk) 23:32, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
