This file was initially tagged by Adeletron 3030 as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: Crop of image #6 of 14 at https://bceagles.com/facilities/alumni-stadium/2 with the players erased from the field for some reason. If you ignore the field and look for the woman in the baseball hat to the left and the image on the big screen to the right, you’ll see that it’s the same photo. I am not sure what you can see on the external website, I don’t see any photo that can be cropped and look like the upload. --Polarlys (talk) 08:16, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Polarlys Theres a carousel at the top of the page and one of the photos is this: https://dxbhsrqyrr690.cloudfront.net/sidearm.nextgen.sites/bceagles.com/images/2015/9/23/50_yard_EMAIL.JPG
It’s an uncropped version of the Commons photo. Adeletron 3030 (talk) 10:30, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I have seen enough. delete --Polarlys (talk) 20:36, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - There is a phone number on the bottom of the bceagles.com photo - "1-800-317-8207". Googling that number, it belongs to "Aerial Photography by Don Couture". The original uploader's name is User:Kempthorne. Presumably, Kempthorne is this uploader's surname, which means he is not "Don Couture". And if we look at all of the images they uploaded on :en, they are all different sizes and probably all copyright violations. File:Alumni Stadium 2005.jpg seems to be the only one still around and it should be deleted too. I have no idea whether or not bceagles.com was the original source (certainly something uploaded to bceagles.com in 2015 was not the original source of something uploaded to Wikipedia in 2006). But the uploader is not Don Couture and therefore this is a likely copyright violation. --B (talk) 18:07, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
