I would like this one (survived a previous DR) to serve as a precedent. Is this:

  • a derivative of a non-free logomust be deleted:
    OR
  • just a photo of a random aircraft's stabilizer → can be used as logo for the corresponding article's lede.

  •  Delete This is significantly different from en:File:Continental Airlines Logo.svg, which was taken from the airline's website. Regardless of the copyright issues, I'm advocating deletion because it's not accurate, and therefore it won't be used to represent this airline except by someone who misunderstands what's going on, and we don't want someone accidentally misrepresenting the airline. If someone can suggest an alternate use, I'll drop the SCOPE requirement and consider the copyright issue, but until then, I think we can consider SCOPE alone. PS, I see that the previous DR contained a suggestion that this could be used for someone illustrating how a stabilizer gets painted; we have plenty of aircraft images that can be cropped to something that everyone will consider obviously free from a copyright perspective, so let's go with those and delete this.
