{{BadGIF}} Incorrect & poor-quality chemical ball-and-stick model; missing triple bond & opaque (white) background. Have File:2,5-Dimethyl-3-hexyne-2,5-diol 3D ball.png as correct, high-quality replacement Chem Sim 2001 (disc) 07:44, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment @Chem Sim 2001: I think there is a geometry mistake in the right carbinol carbon: it looks like both methyl groups and the oxygen are going "back" (away from the viewer) and the sp carbon is going straight to the left. That means it's not tetrahedral. DMacks (talk) 11:02, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DMacks: I can't fix your error. I use DS Visualizer for creating the ball-and-stick model of chemical compounds and after you drew a structure, there is the possibility to clean the geometry according to official bond lengths and angels. I tried everything but I can't get a different result. Chem Sim 2001 (disc) 11:20, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have uploaded a fixed version of the proposed replacement, now the geometry is according to the official angles. Chem Sim 2001 (disc) 20:39, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
