Hungarian stamps where the designer has not been dead for 70 years are copyright and should not be featured on Commons without permission. See Commons:Stamps/Public domain#Hungary Malatinszky (talk) 07:14, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Looking into this further, I've noticed that there are about 1800 Hungarian stamps categorized under Category:PD-HU-exempt (stamps). All of these files use {{PD-HU-exempt}} to claim PD status, even though Hungarian stamps are not considered to be PD unless the general term of protection (author's life plus 70 years) has expired (see Commons:Stamps/Public domain#Hungary and the relevant sections of Commons talk:Stamps/Public domain).
