No source. No authorship information, unknown copyright situation. Jcb (talk) 18:05, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. Any search on Google will show this image up for "11th ACR". The insignia is for a US Army military unit and thus comes under the standard Wiki procedure for images owned by the US government (ie it is free to reproduce). Instead of request for deletion, User:Jcb should have tried to improve the image source. --One Salient Oversight (talk) 02:22, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@One Salient Oversight: Of course I did a reverse image search, but no government website turned up. Did you find a source to support that this depiction is an official version from the US government? Without such a source we don't know whether this would be a government work, so that we don't know the copyright situation. And please refrain from insinuations in the future. It took me less than a minute to find the official page for the 11th ACR, which is part of the GOVERNMENT Fort Irwin webpage: http://www.irwin.army.mil/Pages/Units/11thACR/11thIndex.html --One Salient Oversight (talk) 08:57, 2 March 2018 (UTC) Plus there's this, which shows the image all over the place: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:11th_Armored_Cavalry_Regiment_(United_States)[reply]

Thanks, this link clearly shows that the file was not the official version and not from the US government. The real version is clearly different. I have uploaded the official version over it. Jcb (talk) 09:36, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: resolved - replaced by official version. --Jcb (talk) 09:36, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
