- Following the recent Board resolution [1], please delete the file. I am shown on the picture and I object to releasing it. The category becomes empty and should be speedily deleted. Ymblanter (talk) 07:17, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- It looks like this photo was taken in a restaurant; such places are usually considered public. Powers (talk) 17:57, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
- According to the description this photo is taken during wikimeetup which took place on 03.09.08 in Amsterdam. Meetup is announced on ruwiki meetups list. It is questionable whether wikimeetup photo is considered public or private — NickK (talk) 22:10, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Delete - If I was the subject of the picture, I would also like that a courtesy delete would be honoured, independently of the license.-- Darwin Ahoy! 18:39, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
- Keep Person seems to be notable at the Russian Wikipedia. In use and in scope. Multichill (talk) 22:28, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Question Have you also requested removal of the source image [2]? Or did you give consent for that? If that remains, users will always be free to re-produce this crop. --99of9 (talk) 02:55, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- I am not willing to edit Russian Wikipedia anymore. I never gave consent to the release of the image, but before the resolution was adopted it was pointless to make any complaints--Ymblanter (talk) 06:46, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- The resolution really changes nothing; our Photographs of identifiable people guideline, the one the resolution links to, was in effect before the resolution. The resolution only asks us to apply it more stringently. But that guideline clearly states: "the subject's consent is not usually needed for a straightforward photograph of an identifiable individual taken in a public place". This looks like a public place to me. Powers (talk) 14:40, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
