The triviality of this text must be proved. The childish works are protected, even if creativity is too childish. Alex Spade (talk) 13:12, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- This letter of a boy of nine years contains the text: "Dear Mom! I live very well. I go to school, I try to study well. Dad makes presents to me. I already have two new suits, boots and coats. Tomorrow my aunt Zhenya will order boots for me. Write Vovin's address. I kiss your Vova." This is a very trivial text. He can not be protected as a work of art. Коллега Sealle, а вы как считаете? --НоуФрост (talk) 14:09, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- This text illustrates the article with such a number of views - 1 000 000 per year. --НоуФрост (talk) 14:33, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- Jurisprudential and child psychological works are emphasizing that child creativity is creativity: such creativity can be very simple (childish) due to age of the author, but it is still creativity by nature of creativity. Alex Spade (talk) 15:26, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- We are talking about a letter, that is, a text, not a picture or "child creativity". Billions of children in the world write the text "Dear Mom!" - it can not be a protected work, especially if it is done in a calligraphic handwriting --НоуФрост (talk) 15:37, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- Childish text is also form of childish creativity. It is unimportant that overwhelming majority of parents and ex-children do not protect such childish works (for example, in courts). It is important what do child psychologists say about creativity of such works. Alex Spade (talk) 16:08, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- calligraphic handwriting --НоуФрост (talk) 17:03, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- I am not talking about calligraphic handwriting (or autographic form of text), I am talking about text itself. If young Vova had hand-written "Союз нерушимый республик свободных..." or "Итак, она звалась Татьяной...", such handwriting had not been protected indeed. Alex Spade (talk) 18:45, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- I translated the text. I doubt that "Hello Mom" or "I bought a coat" or "Kisses, Vova" can be protected --НоуФрост (talk) 18:48, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

- Precautionary principle is not here. There's nothing to protect --НоуФрост (talk) 18:58, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- Plz, give references to jurisprudential and/or child psychological works. Alex Spade (talk) 19:05, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
