This file was initially tagged by Sealle as no permission. After complaints on my talkpage I restored the image an converted it to a regular deletion request. The uploader strongly claimes to be the real author of the image. The style of the images looks more like an official military or similar image. The given date 2001 canot be true for a "model" who died in 1998 - see ru:Лапин, Александр Альбертович JuTa 23:37, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per nom. Unless the uploader provides who is the real photographer and when this image was really taken, this will be deleted. -- Poké95 23:52, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - uploaded locally as "fair use", see w:ru:Файл:Лапин, Александр Альбертович (1920-1998).jpg --Kaganer (talk) 00:10, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This is to confirm that I am the author and owner of both the original image created in 1982 and its scanned electronic copy made in 2001. Both images are in my ownership and my personal archive. I need to restore the image that has been recently removed as the article is incomplete without that image. What steps need to be taken to recover the file? --Sngag (talk) 00:14, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - by statement of uploader, this photo was taken by himself in 1982, and then digitized in 2001. There is no reasonable reason to doubt this statement or disprove it. File description updated. --Kaganer (talk) 00:17, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kaganer and Sngag: If the author (which is Sngag) is still alive, then OTRS permission is needed. This will confirm if Sngag is the real author. I am still in doubt, as many people can falsely claim ownership of any image. Also, it was taken in 1982 (is it also published?), and for an image from Russia to be in the public domain, the author should be dead over 70 years ago. So Sngag, please send an e-mail to the OTRS to confirm you are the author. Poké95 00:55, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Pokéfan95: I did send an email to OTRS with the similar statement as above. Sngag (talk) 01:56, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Sngag: Oh ok. So please wait while the OTRS is verifying your email. This may take days (hopefully), weeks (commonly), or maybe months (rarely), depending on the number of OTRS members active and the number of emails to be processed. Thanks, Poké95 04:27, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Kept pending the outcome of the OTRS verification process. De728631 (talk) 12:42, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Pokéfan95, OTRS permission is needed, if there is reasons. In this case, this is no needed. Your doubts - it's your problem if they do not have a reason. --Kaganer (talk) 19:30, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kaganer: Not only it is my doubt, but the author is still alive, it would be good if the author is dead over 70 years ago, which OTRS permission is not needed. Please read {{PD-Russia}}. Poké95 00:29, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
