Functions: This bot previously had been granted a bot flag. I however decided that I wanted to have all deletion related stuff in one bot, so I decided to rename that bot to User:DRBot. Recently I have taken some bot requests that generate a lot of edits. I would like to request a bot flag, such that those edits are automatically hidden from recent changes. - What are the tasks this bot would do? Discussion index for one, presumably? That one is good to have show up in recent changes actually. Do you thus need 3 bots? :) I have no issue with your bot getting a flag but think maybe some (but not all) edits should be visible. ++Lar: t/c 10:43, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Is it necessary that they show up in RC? The DiscussionIndex is updated on a regular interval; not when somebody adds a comment to a page. Note that bot edits by default do show up in your watchlist. -- Bryan (talk to me) 10:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC) (PS. I currently control 6 bots, not 3 ;))
