Colour of highway signs in Belarus

[edit]

Hello,

I am writing you because you are the last person to have edited the following map in 2017, which is still the current version:

File:Highway_speed_limits_europe_with_indicator_colors.png

Could you please change the colour of Belarus from blue to green ?

Both the motorway symbol and all directional etc. signs on motorways are green in Belarus (and not blue). This is not a recent development; in fact, Belarusian motorway signs have never been blue, but always green since the introduction of special motorway signs in the USSR in 1979.

Here is a link to the current official regulations of these signs in Belarus (available in Russian, Belarusian and English): https://pdd.by/pdd/ru/a2-p5/

Unfortunately, the false blue marking for Belarus on this world map is also repeated on the following map depicting only Europe:

File:Color_of_European_Motorway_Signs.svg

The two maps also contain some further inconsistencies, inaccuracies and anachronisms (especially concerning the speed limits that are subject to constant changes in the various countries of Europe), but these are comparatively less serious mistakes.

It would really be great if you could change the File:Highway_speed_limits_europe_with_indicator_colors.png (and perhaps also the other map) to reflect the actual situation in Belarus, giving the link https://pdd.by/pdd/ru/a2-p5/ in the description (to prove that this is not an arbitrary change, but rather one backed up by the official regulations).

Thank you very much in advance for all your efforts !
