Hello, and thank your for sharing your files with Commons. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. Please remember that all uploads require source, author and license information. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? Thank you. --Siebrand 01:10, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks--I just forgot to put my self-created public domain tag on it. –Sesmith 01:43, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey Sesmith,
I'm really grateful for this map. However, I conceive the problem that many maps concerning the foreign policy of the United States are made in blue, especially those regarding it's allies. I don't want you to conclude the stupid red vs. blue schem, but I would like to ask you to compose this already good map in another color so that it contrast more to the others. --Predator capitalism 21:26, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
You are awesome! need your help
[edit]Hey mate, i saw you did a PDF version of a SVG file... something similar to this file:
BlankMap-FlatWorld6.svg
Can you please make a PDF version of this one too?

File:Pacific_centric_no_colonies_blank_world.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Basis for maps
[edit]Hi, not sure if you will see this, but if you do could you please have a look at the copyright queries raised at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Visa policy of Sri Lanka.png? It seems that the image in question was based on your file File:No colonies blank world map.png. As we need to make sure that we're not infringing copyright, I'd be grateful if you could say where you got the country outlines from that enabled you to create the file. Presumably (I hope) it came from a public domain source - and we ought to specify what that source was and add that information to the file and to all the others that are based on the same map. Many thanks for your time. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 14:56, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Sesmith. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Sesmith~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
