You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Umbenennungsanfragen

Hallo @Museum Rietberg

Seid ihr sicher, dass ihr die Dateien umbenannt haben wollt? Im Moment haben sie aussagekräfte Namen, hinterher nicht mehr, siehe dazu auch COM:FNC, Punkt 2 und solche Dateien werden ja gerade zur Umbenennung vorgeschlagen.

Ich würde jetzt stattdessen als Beispiel Antoin Sevruguin - Der Hafen von Anzali (Bandar i Anzali) (Museum Rietberg 2022.00428.10) wählen, liest sich etwas bequemer und die genau Beschreibung geht dadurch nicht verloren.

Hi Ysabella, danke für deine Nachfrage. Ich verstehe deinen Punkt, tatsächlich ist die Zuschreibung an Antoin Sevruguin bei vielen Fotos noch unklar, und die Titel waren zwar für Commons aussagekräftig, aber leider entsprechen sie nicht den Standards, wie man historische Fotografien beschreibt. Die beschreibenden Titel tauchen ja nach wie vor in der Beschreibung auf, wir wollen aber nicht suggerieren, dass diese Titel die korrekten sind.
