Thanks for uploading File:Moulin des isles aprés 1907 et conversion en usine électrique.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Your message

[edit]

I had to revert your post on my talk because you erased the messages of other users in the process of posting. In future, please use the "Add topic" button at the top of the page, or be sure to add your post at the very bottom of the page, under all other posts, so as not to change or erase the comments of other users.

In regard to the above images, I deleted them per COM:PRP. We deal with thousands of images daily here, and so we often can't spend a lot of time looking into each case. I do my best. I understand your frustration, and I'm glad to see you've cleared every thing up and gotten the images restored. Take care. INeverCry 00:35, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello i understand, but i did not see messages deleted by my post? no importance, i was looking for our discuccion, wiche where directed ti archive 2, but after reading all pages was in page 7. I juste redit my post and had a answer...
i understand that you don't have many time to spend, but indeed i spent it in ouing this restor work during few weeks. and it was time spending for me too, uploading files, finding them, scanning them, naming them etc.. so the time you don't have is taken in mine in this example. And what i can say, is as a new user, i was informed that there where a discussion about this imags, but none as waited to my participitaion to this discussion wich one was very short "deleting?" and "deleted"...so i found that as new and motivated user, disouraging, because, the charte and guides and best pratices i see on Wikipedia and common wher no applying to my simple example... And i would have been happy, that with the disussion it should have been about this photos, my good faith would have been believed as first, and then giving me advices and help to resolve the probleme, but not a speedy prejudice and deletion and blocking quick to come as a hammer blow. I really have no interest by talking to you like that, only a feed back of a french new user, enjoyed by the french community and disapointing by the interractions in common, putting me off using it... only a feed back, no offense, i hope you'll understand, and maybe think even a little of what i can describe you as experiment and huge waist of time and engagement on my side :)
juste aboutCOM:PRP i see:
"Commons' users aim to build and maintain in good faith a repository of media files which to the best of our knowledge are free or freely-licensed. The precautionary principle is that where there is significant doubt about the freedom of a particular file it should be deleted."
i read "good faith"wich i didnt see and felt in that case
i read "significant" doubt.. doubt can i undertsand, but significant? was it a picasso uploaded as my own work? no just old pictures, of an old man and old manufactury and motors... where this photos already known? no already known as somebody's work? no a doubt can we have, but not "significant" because there are simple explenation, for people uploding new pictures, about someone you don't know, and there is nothing making this doubt "significant" .... i'm not known as picture's stealer, my good faith could have been maintain instead of building an doubt as significant on personnal appreciation or prejudice basis...
seems hard to just say "sorry" ...
take care, but please let french common admin oversee my uploads or just someone intersting of brand new old pictures or exchange with users

Here's the talkpage revert I referred to. The messages highlighted in blue were overwritten by your post. As for time, you had an entire week to comment in Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by ABarr, which you were notified of above. If you'd commented, the images probably wouldn't have been deleted. In future, if you have any questions, you can ask French-speaking users at Commons:Bistro. INeverCry 01:08, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
i understant what you say. I m just saying i was looking to our discussion, so i DID NOT do,it in purpose...
For time, i had a week? but i saw the message too late, i could not know i had a message, i m not her everyday, there where no probleme until then, so i thaought it was eveything okay. The time? i only knwew i hac a week, when it happens, too late, how could hav i know, that this day, a message was posted, lating me only one week, to see the message, to know the time, and to answer.. so i did not see any messages positives on this discussion, only that i couldnt be possible... but it was too late, it happend one day, and ended one day, without giving me a chance of just knowing it...
asking french user, thanks! i were juste talking about admin deleting french user work, without any consideration and patience, or just simple advice or belief in good faith...
I hope i had see the first message, but if you see on my page, i already DID answer the same thing to an other admin trying to delete one of my picture the day i uploaded it. so the explanation was already on my discussion page. if you have just see it (because the discussion post where on it, no??)
thanks for all of this, it really make no sens with the word of community!

I'm sorry to see how this has upset you. I really do try my best to get things right, but of course that doesn't happen every time. Now that it's been figured out, I hope things will go more smoothly for you here in the future. INeverCry 01:56, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:2021 Photo PierreBordry Wikipedia.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:2021 Photo PierreBordry Wikipedia.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.
