Thank you for providing images to the wikimedia commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to the commons should be useful to all users of wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.

To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate category and optionally place the images on topic pages (galleries), or do both (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There is a large number of completely unsorted images on the commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

Thank you. -- Duesentrieb 18:48, 17 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Hello DanielCD,

Could you precise where you have taken this photo? --- Pixeltoo 22:13, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I added location info about the fern as well as the species (Polypodium polypodioides) on the page. I will try to give more information like this from now on. Let me know if you need any other information and thanks for looking at my picture. --DanielCD 19:53, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for making this image available to the world. I have straightened and color-corrected it. I hope you feel it's an improvement. --Tysto 16:00, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Use of your resurrection fern image.

[edit]

Daniel,

I looked for an email to contact you. I am writing to inquire about permission to use the resurrection fern image, in particular how you wish to be credited for the image.

The book we are working on is by Professor Gunter Pauli <http://www.zeri.org/> and concerns technological innovations derived from natural systems. The resurrection fern are noted in a chapter concerning doubling the provision of vaccines to third world clinics by eliminating the need for a constant cold chain.

I will be happy to provide a draft of the related text if you wish.

Thank you for your attention. Again, my apology if I have contacted you incorrectly.
