Wegen "Hätte ich's mal früher gewusst..." ;-)
Hallo ABF,
--Bubo 容 07:37, 15 October 2011 (UTC) Wenn du keine Einladung mehr bekommen möchtest, trage dich aus dieser Liste aus.
- Danke! :) ;) abf «Cabale!» 16:38, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
German help
Hi ABF/Archive/2011/October,
I have a problem with a file rename request, and the explanation is in German (Is about some german locator map). Since I know nothing about your language (my fault, I admit :) ) I come here to ask for your help. Can you please read the history of the probelm in my talk page and help him here. Thanks in advance! Béria Lima msg 11:45, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
PS: I send that same message to Axpde and Saibo too :)
- Saibo did. ;) abf «Cabale!» 16:38, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Mjordan6
Hi ABF, in regards to {{Mjordan6}} I notice you have emailed them to confirm the permission. I have obtained permissions from all but one of the photographers which you can find at Category:Aviation photographers, and User:Adrignola has been processing the tickets as I have been sending them in -- 139 in total by my count have given permission and have had OTRS processed. You will notice that I have also cc'ed the photographer in on my email to the OTRS team. I do all the ground work in getting permission and sending it in, to make it an easy, streamlined process for photographers, who might not otherwise give us their permission because "it's too hard". If you only need to confirm their email address, then you can go to http://www.airliners.net/advsearch/ and put their email address in the search box under "E-mail: E-mail address of photographer" and hit search and it will bring their photos up. Only in those instances where the email address they have contacted me from finds nothing should we really be sending these photographers yet more emails, don't you agree? The permission form I use is very much self-explanatory, as is the long email I send to them initially, along with all of the links included. You may want to discuss this with Adrignola, if needed. russavia (talk) 03:03, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- Dear russavia, I must say that it took me a long time to deal with that request and because I was so unsure about what to do, I have even consulted two other OTRS-agents. First of all, I really value your work and that was why I wanted to let the permission pass. Secondly, I remembered the guidelines who told me (although nobody really follows this outside of the -de queues) not to accept forwarded eMails. This was even special, because I had only the .doc document with the permission and no real proof that the document was even included in the original mail. So in this case, we had a huge ammount of good photos to be released under a free license and I finally came to the conclusion that it would be better to re-confirm with the author. By the way, I know airliners.net and it's functions - I am a planespotter myself. ;) I hope you can understand my point. Kind regards, abf «Cabale!» 12:17, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- By the way, I am even more concerned about {{DougGreen}}. abf «Cabale!» 12:27, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
