I'm Rupal Karia Outreach and Community Coordinator at WMUK.

Biography

I hold a BSc in Banking and International Finance from City University, London. I completed a Teaching English as a Second Language and worked in Spain and then volunteered across Argentina, Peru and Bolivia as a English teacher.

After returning to the UK, I moved into the Voluntary Sector working with various grassroots charities managing volunteer teams and supporting them with building robust volunteering systems.

More recently, I worked at the Volunteer Centres in Camden and Hackney supporting other organisations with their volunteering needs as well as managing teams of volunteers.

Work

My work at WMUK is centred around supporting the existing WMUK community of volunteers and to also recruit new contributors - particularly from under-represented groups and communities who are new to WMUK.
