once you extract it, put your changed perl program in the same folder(directory) as the file called MediaWiki.pm

so you should have C:\...\redirectbot\rdbot.pl , C:\...\redirectbot\MediaWiki.pm C:\...\redirectbot\MediaWiki\page.pm when you are done.

Note that *you* create redirectbot... probably on your desktop, or wherever you want to put it. If you do these steps, I'll be able to help you actually run the script. Be sure perl is installed and those steps are done.

well basically you are making a new folder on your desktop called "redirectbot" you copy http://toolserver.org/~eagle/MediaWiki.tar.gz into that folder you run 7zip on it copy rdbot.pl into redirectbot/

Hm

• 1. make new folder called redirectbot on your desktop
• 2. copy http://toolserver.org/~eagle/MediaWiki.tar.gz into that folder
• 3. Use 7zip to extract the contents of MediaWiki.tar.gz into the same folder (redirectbot/)
• 4. Copy your modified source code into redirectbot/ (should be the same folder as you extracted MediaWiki.tar.gz into that folder
