Former blast furnace #2 belonging the disappeared Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A. (Mediterranean Blast Furnaces), located in Port of Sagunt, Valencian Community, Spain. The company Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A (AHM), based on the Altos Hornos de Vizcaya S.A., was created in 1971 to serve the ferrous metallurgy in Sagunto. This blast furnace, the only one remaining of the 3 that were operating, is 64 m high. It was first built in 1922, and operated for only 13 years. In the the 1970s, it was restored, and is now open to the public and to visitors.
