Description
Deutsch: Heinrich Zille steht seinem Freund August Kraus Modell für die Büste des Ritters Wedigo von Plotho, einer Nebenfigur der Denkmalgruppe zum Brandenburger Markgrafen Heinrich das Kind in der ehemaligen Berliner Siegesallee. Das Monument wurde am 22. März 1900 enthüllt. Die Statuen sind zur Zeit gelagert im Kreuzberger Lapidarium.
English: The painter and photographer Heinrich Zille poses for his friend, sculptor August Kraus in his studio at the former Siegesallee in Berlin. Kraus is working on a bust beside the monument, "Wedigo von Plotho" commemorating margrave Henry II of Brandenburg, who was called "Heinrich das Kind" ("Henry the child"). The sculpture was unveiled on 22 March 1900. At present, the statues are stored at the Lapidarium in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
