English: A monthly Welsh language women's periodical established with the support of Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover (1802-1896). The periodical's main contents were biographies of prominent women both from the contemporary world and from the bible, articles on keeping a home and family and on current affairs, alongside poetry and reviews. The periodical was edited by the minister and journalist, Evan Jones (Ieuan Gwynedd, 1820-1852). Associated titles: Y Tywysydd a'r Gymraes (1852). Cymraeg: Cylchgrawn misol, Cymraeg ei iaith, i fenywod gafodd ei sefydlu gyda chefnogaeth Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover (1802-1896). Prif gynnwys y cylchgrawn oedd bywgraffiadau o fenywod amlwg cyfoes ac o'r beibl, erthyglau ar gadw tÅ· a teulu ac ar faterion cyfoes, ynghyd a barddoniaeth ac adolygiadau.
