(Aug. 29, 2016) – Machinist's Mate 2nd Class David Gorey, assigned to Naval Base Kitsap, leads the 21-gun salute for the remains of World War II veteran Lt. Julian Jordan. Jordan was 37 years old when the attack on Pearl Harbor took place and he was indentified with the use of DNA profiling after his body was exhumed from the Nevada-class battleship USS Oklahoma (BB 37).
