Description
Deutsch: ein 6-jähriger Balkan-Wolf "der Bauernschreck" wurde im Revier des Schlosses Waldenstein in Kärnten, Bezirk Wolfsberg am 05. März 1914, durch den Gräflichen Henckel-Donnersmarkschen Jäger Paul Steinbauer erlegt. Im Nordwesten des Handalmzuges befindet sich am Wildbachsattel ein Gedenkstein, der daran erinnert: der "Wolfstein".
English: on 5th march of 1914 the hunter of Castle Waldenstein, Austria, Carinthia has shot the six years old Fox, coming along the border of Yugoslavia to Austria. Farmers and animals have been afraid of this scared Fox in the area.
