Description

More than 1,000 people gathered at Tuna Harbor Park to view the dedication of the permanent bronze version of "Unconditional Surrender" on Feb. 16, 2013.

During the ceremony, the Port of San Diego formally accepted the 25-foot sculpture from the USS Midway Museum.
