Nederlands: Vredepeel, 26 november 2016

Vandaag werd op de LGen. Bestkazerne in Vredepeel het Bronzen schild uitgereikt aan 7 LUA. Dit vanwege de inzet in Nieuw-Guinea gedurende de periode 1958-1962. Dit Bronzen schild is de hoogste groepsonderscheiding die de Landmacht kent. De Generaal en de Kpl Peter van den Thillart staan op de foto.

Aanwezig was o.a C-LAS de LGeneraal Leo Beulen.
