Description

ADVANCING “We learned a lot about the modern planning tools used in the SynerGEE planning tool including the calculation of energy losses, fault studies, load transfer, reconductoring – all of which can be implemented nationwide. This workshop brought to our attention the latest technology with which we can modernize MEPCO, while enhancing our knowledge about planning.” Gujranwala Electric Power Company Assistant Director Planning Farhan Hussan Javed

(Pictured Above) Equipping Planning Engineers with the Right Tools: This month, the Power Distribution Program held a workshop for planning engineers, introducing the SynerGEE power which simulates the conditions and allows planners to test different network arrangements prior to fieldwork. USAID needed to design a planning guideline in accordance with SynerGEE Electric for the P&E directorates of all DISCOs.
