Summary
[edit]DescriptionTugford Brook - upstream at Tugford - geograph.org.uk - 1283157.jpg |
English: Tugford Brook - upstream at Tugford A large number of trees were washed down the steeply falling Tugford Brook during the floods of September 2008 and accumulated on the upstream side of the bridge. The water levels peaked at the top of the banks with 'a roar like the Niagara Falls'. Six months on the civil engineering works have been completed to install a substantial gabion basket wall. Further upstream towards the source on the Brown Clee the watercourse has numerous felled trees. |
