Description
English: The dome of Belfast City Hall. The City Hall occupies the site of the old white-linen hall. Designed by Alfred Brumwell Thomas, it was built between 1896 and 1906. The builder is still trading http://www.hjmartin.co.uk/. It was paid for by the profits from the municipal gasworks. The dome is regarded as the "crowning glory" of Belfast's best-known building.
