He was appointed a member of the Com-mission on Evangelism of the Federal Council. He was Secretary ofthe Directors of the Aged Christian Ministers Home, a Trustee ofStarkey Seminary, and a mercber of the Board of Directors of theFrancis Asbury Palmer Fund. Dr. Maityn Summerbell says: And inall these various capacities he served in all modesty and yet withabundant efficiency. A truer man and a more faithful friend neverwalked this earthly footstool. The loss, by his demise, to the Semi-nary, the Lakemont Church, the comjnunity, and the church at large isirreparable. Rev. He was married to Alice CovingtonVaughan, of Woodstock, Vt., June 8, 1898, and became the father of threechildren. He was received to membership, and licensed, by the Merrimack ChristianConference and was ordained a minister in the Christian Church at Woodstock,Vt., October 31, 1894. The following order of service was observed: Sei-mon byRev. A. H. Morrill, D. D.; Ordaining prayer, Rev. William S. Morrill; Chargeto church, Rev. G. W. Morrow, who also extended the hand of fellowship;Charge to candidate. Rev. E. W. West. It is interesting to note that Rev. Wil-liam S.
