Summary

[edit]
Description

Subharchord, a subharmonic synthesizer similar to Mixtur trautonium but with a keyboard, was invented in 1962 by Ernst Schreiber at east Berlin, German Democratic Republic (GDR).

In 2000 Subharchord was rediscovered by a artist and musician in Berlin, Manfred Miersch, and widely known by four-part articles of the German KEYBOARDS magazine [1] and his website www.subharcorde.com [2].
