At the turn of the Millennium this shoreline was home to the 4th most biodiverse region on the continent. Now it is the 7th. It is not difficult to understand why this is occurring. 27 of Indiana's 45 miles of shoreline is a gated industrial community. This community produces profits from Steel & Oil production for the economy's oligarchs and violent toxic contamination for the region's inhabitants.
