Description
Deutsch: St.-Nikolai-Kirche in Burg (Fehmarn). Malerei auf der Nordwand über der Sakristei. Auf der Fläche eines zugemauerten gotischen Fensters ist eine Wandmalerei zu erkennen, die den Patron der Kirche, den hl. Nikolaus, darstellt und darüber den hl. Christophorus mit dem Jesuskind auf der Schulter, das als Zeichen seiner Weltherrschaft eine Kugel mit einem Kreuz trägt. Das Fresko stammt vermutlich aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, als das "Likhus" angebaut und das Fenster zugemauert wurde. 1846 wurden alle Bilder übergemalt.
